Dear Residents

We are writing to make you aware that we have received several reports of garage burglaries on 27th & 28th November in the

St Marks area.

Our Neighbourhood Policing Team is increasing patrols in the affected locations.

We are asking all residents to remain vigilant and to review the security of any garages, sheds, or storage units. Even small improvements can significantly reduce the risk of burglary.

Crime Prevention Advice

Ensue all doors are fully secured with good-quality locks, consider adding a padlock or reinforcing weak points.

Avoid keeping high-value items in garages where possible. If unavoidable, consider locking items inside anchor points or chains.

Check and maintain CCTV or Video doorbells, ensuring they are angled towards garage doors or access routes .

Report any suspicious behaviour immediately to police.
